| 1.
On the basis of the experience gained in applying the DVV/RKI guideline
2005, a clarification and additional requirements was required, eg regarding the
chemothermal disinfection. Therefore, the revised guideline was re-published in
August 2008 (Bundesgesundheitsblatt, 2008, 51, 937-945 and Medicine & Hygiene;
2008, 33, 315-322). Since no relevant changes have been done, test results which
were compiled on the basis of the guideline in 2005 and 2008 shall be considered
as equal. |

Meanwhile the revised DVV/RKI-Guideline (published in August 2008) has
been translated into English (see link to
PDF) |
